The bottom retains its original vintage "Made in Taiwan" foil sticker, indicating its origin during the peak era of fine Taiwanese enamel export wares.
Mechanism--the front push-clasp snap functions perfectly -it is nice, tight & highly secure. The colorful cloissonane enamel cells are fully intact with no chips, cracks, or pitting. The brass/gold-tone frame shows lovely vintage character with only minor surface age wear. Clean and ready for use or display 2 compartment interior.
